Our Dream

Geek Treats Lexington Bakery is a dream of Barb and Amanda. We are a mother – daughter team that has decided to stop dreaming and start doing. 

Barb has wanted to create a bakery since her kids were little and she would make cakes and cookies for birthdays, school parties, and just because it was a sunny or rainy day. So, when she retired in January of 2025 it seemed like the perfect time to get the dough rolling.
 

Amanda has talked about owning a bakery or restaurant since she was in high school. Jumping in feet first with Barb just seemed like the right next step.
 

Neither of us can say no to an idea. Things may not always work out as we expected but 100% of the time the failures of one design leads to an even better design. 

We are open to the classic flavors and shapes if that is what you want. Or say hey what about a blueberry flavored cake in the shape of Dr. Who’s Tartus? (Just a thought). 

You imagination is the starting point to our design plans.  

At Geek Treats Lexington, we believe that every treat is a chance to express yourself. A chance to bring joy and fun to any day or event.
